GamesForGirls.com was the top seller for the week to 20 February, selling for a cool half million dollars through Sedo, in Domain Name Journal’s list of top reported domain name sales.
It was the only domain name to break the six-figure mark for the week, easily beating into second place TZ.com, which sold for $80,000, also through Sedo. LoanQuotes was third, selling for $75,000 through Moniker/SnapNames.
After last week’s quite showing from Sedo, they rebounded this week to account for 15 of the top 20 reported sales, while .COM accounted for 13 sales.
.DE, and .NET both accounted for two sales each while .BE, .ME and .INFO all had one name on the list. The interest in IDNs on the list of top reported sales continues to grow, with Großhandel.de coming in at number nine, selling for €19,999 ($27,399).
