Won.com sold for $115,000 through Moniker/SnapNames to top the Domain Name Journal weekly list of reported domain name sales in the week to 27 February.
Won.com was the only six-figure sale for the week with socialmusic.com and sketchbook.com coming second and third, selling for $60,558 (Moniker/SnapNames) and $50,000 (Sedo) respectively.
Moniker/SnapNames had a good week in the sales chart taking six of the top ten positions and seven of the top 20. Correspondingly, Sedo did not take out so many positions, with only eight of the top ten positions, down from their usual dozen or so.
.COM names dominated the list with 16 of the top 20 positions. The only non-.COM names were venture.ca, love.me, neuwagen24.de and nugget.co.uk.
