Adventure.com Tops Weekly Sales Chart

After a quiet week for big sales, the week to 12 June popped up with a good six-figure sale. Adventure.com topped the Domain Name Journal weekly sales chart, selling for an adventurous $200,000 through MediaOptions.

It easily topped the second-biggest sale, phrases.com, which sold for $80,000 through UpMarketDNS followed by AdNet.com, selling for $60,000 through AfternicDLS/Moniker/SnapNames.

Overall .COM names dominated the week with 16 of the top 23 (there was a three-way tie for 20th spot) while Sedo was a little quiet with the top sales leaderboard, accounting for 12 of the sales.

There were also five ccTLD sales – three .CO domains, one .LY and one .DE.
