2012 Kicks Off With Million Dollar Domain Sale

2012 kicked off in a big way with a million dollar sale topping the first Domain Name Journal chart. The domain, dudu.com, although reported some weeks ago, was finalised during the week. It sold for an even $1 million through Sedo.

There were also two six figure sales for the week, frame.com that sold for $148,000 through Tony Clements Newsletter/MediaOptions and flights.ca, selling for $120,000 in a private sale.

Overall there were 11 sales via Sedo for the week ending 8 January in the top 21 (there was a tie for 20th place), and a further three through the through Tony Clements Newsletter. There were 17 .COM sales and four ccTLD sales.
