A couple of six figure domain name sales topped the final Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales for 2016. The top sale for the 2 week period was advance.com, selling for a very celebratory $300,000 through the Buckley Media Group, followed by tcp.com, which sold for $133,000 through Sedo.
Sedo also took out the third biggest sale, selling cave.com for $61,450.
On the TLD side of things there were 17 .com sales, 2 for .net and one for .ca. For aftermarket outlets, there were 9 sales through Sedo and 6 through NameJet.
