Three-letter .com domain name sales took out the top 8 positions of the Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales for the week ending 5 February, with the top 2 places being for $100,000-plus sales.
The top sale for the week was ocs.com which sold for $115,000 through Sedo, while dil.com came in second selling for $102,000 and szd.com third selling for $44,500, both selling through BQDN.
Overall there were 15 three-letter .com domains in the top 20 sales, with unusually, .com domains taking out the top 20 places. On the aftermarket side of things there were 9 sales through BQDB, 8 through NameJet and 3 through Sedo.
