Controversial Ultra-Right Hater Buys Hatred.com in Week’s Biggest Domain Sale

Domain Name Journal logoThere’s a lot of hatred coming from the ultra-right these days, and controversial ultra-right media personality Milo Yiannopoulos certainly oozes a lot of hate. So much so he’s gone and bought the hatred.com domain name for $150,000 to top the Domain Name Journal’s chart of top reported sales for the week ending 25 June.

The domain name was one of 2 six figure sales that topped the chart, both private sales, the other being xyb.com which sold for $100,000. And rounding out the top 3 was ymb.com, which sold for $35,000, closely followed by okchina.com, which sold for $32,500, both sold by Sedo.

Overall Sedo had 12 of the top 20 sales, including 7 of the top 10, while DomainMarket and DomainSales123 had 2 each.

On the TLD side of things, .com had 15 sales including 9 of the top 10 plus 2 for .de and one each for .co.jp, .network and .co.
