For the fifth week in a row, and final for 2017, a 6-figure domain name sale topped the Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales. But wait. There’s more. There were 2! First up in the week ending 31 December was the sale of okey.com which sold for $250,000 through Uniregistry, while second was wmn.com selling for $200,000 in a private sale.
Coming in third was cryptorate.com which just missed out on the 6-figure mark, selling for $99,888 through FoundationDomains and GoDaddy.
On the aftermarket side of things NameJet came out tops, reporting 10 of the sales on the top 20 while Sedo had 6. On the top level domain side of things there were 18 .com sales and one each for .ca and .net.
