Another week sees a 6-figure domain name sale topping the Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales. For the week ending 4 February, hpx.com topped the chart, selling for $130,000 through Sedo, who sold the top 3 for the week.
Coming in second was carstore.com, which sold for $82,500, followed by antrieb.de (drive in German), which sold for €35,700 ($44,268).
On the aftermarket side of things, Sedo had a hand in 12 of the top 21 sales (a tie for 20th place), while BQDN and NameJet had 4 sales each. On the top level domain side of things, there were 15 .com sales, 2 for .org and one each for .de, .net, .us and .co.uk.
