There was no domain name sale that topped the 6-figure mark for the fourth week in a row, but there was a sale that broke $50,000 after 2 weeks of sub-$50K sales. Skew.com topped the Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales for the week ending 25 August, selling for $92,000 through Uniregistry.

Coming next was acetech.com which sold for €75,000 ($83,250) while third was homee.com, selling for $40,000, both through Sedo, while fourth was the new gTLD domain, simple.life, selling for $20,000 through WebQuest/Uniregistry.

Sedo was the most popular aftermarket outlet on the top 20 with 11 sales while Uniregistry had a hand in 8. On the top-level domain side of things, .com had its usual dominance with 14 sales while there were 2 for .co and one each for .life, .uk, .ch and .de.
