It’s the third biggest sale in 2019 to date and easily the biggest sale for the week ending 20 October, so eko.com topped the Domain Name Journal chart of top reported domain name sales selling for a massive $1.5 million through Uniregistry/Buy Domain Guide, LLC.

The only other domain name sales bigger in 2019 so far were the monumental sale of voice.com which sold for $30 million and California.com which sold for $3 million.

Eko.com was bought by Eko, which previously used helloeko.com. The company describes themselves as delivering “cinematic interactive video, empowering participants to make choices that shape stories in real time.”

Coming in second and third were passione.com (passion in Italian) and 7732.com which sold for $60,000 and $49,500 through DomainMarket and Uniregistry respectively.

On the aftermarket outlet side of things, Uniregistry had a hand in 8 sales, 7 solo, on the top 21 (a tie for 20th place) while Sedo had 12. On the top-level domain side of things, there were 12 .com sales, 3 for .de, 2 for .org and one each for .co.uk, .co, .es and .io.
