A slow week for domain name sales saw no sales above the $100,000 mark in the week to 11 July according to Domain Name Journal’s list of reported sales. Online gambling is big business. This year the domain name slots.com has been the biggest sale to date, sold for $5.5 million to Bodog Antigua. Other big gambling-related domain name sales were poker.org selling for $1 million and poker.ca for $400,000.
