Baby Bump In Domain Registrations

There has been a baby bump in the registration of domain names related to the birth this week of Prince George.

London’s Daily Telegraph reported that georgealexanderlouis.com, princegeorgealexandelouis.com, princegeorgealexanderlouis.co.uk, georgealexanderlouis.co.uk, georgealexanderlouis.net and georgealexanderlouis.org among many others were registered within minutes of the announcement of the baby’s birth.

The birth of the likely future king also led to spoof Twitter accounts, as well as over six million mentions on Twitter of the royal baby since it was announced that the Duchess of Cambridge had gone into labour on Monday morning.
