Domain Name Journal logoIt’s been a healthy end to 2016 and start to 2017 for domain name sales with there being two 6-figure sales in each of the latest 3 fortnightly sales charts. And in the latest Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales for the fortnight ending 29 January, the top sale was a whopping $1,820,000 for the sale of 01.com through VIP Brokerage while physician.com sold for a very nice $179,000 through Sedo.

The third biggest sale was for e77.com in a $25,000 sale through Sedo.

On the TLD side of things it was a chart almost exclusively for the legacy generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs) with 16 .com sales, two for .info and one each for .net and .shop.

Sedo had a very good week on the aftermarket side of things with 14 sales while DomainMarket and Name Kart had two each.
